Moroccan emerging artists are invited to apply for a sponsored three week art residency.

Who can apply?
Applicants must be early in their career, recent graduates, or 4th year art students from one of the Fine Art Institutes of Morocco. They must also be Moroccan-born artists, able to communicate in basic English.
Artists of all mediums may apply – drawing, painting, sculpture, writing, film, design, photography, performance, music, etc.
What is the Moroccan Emerging Artist Grant?
This grant was made possible by generous donors who share our commitment to promoting and facilitating the Moroccan arts movement.
It includes a paid three week residency, a 700 MAD materials stipend, inclusion in our open studio event at the conclusion of your residency period and more.
What does it not include?
Transportation, food and housing are not included in this residency, but we are available to help find housing if needed.
This also does not cover the 200 MAD deposit which must be paid within 1 week of acceptance to secure the space.

Applications are now being accepted for the following season:

How do I apply?
Complete this Moroccan Emerging Artist Grant Application (not our regular application), including a written proposal of the project you intend to work on during the residency, an artist statement, a CV and a portfolio of recent works.
Our selection committee will review your application and notify you whether you are approved for the next step in the selection process, which is an interview with members of the committee and then the final decisions will be made. The review process takes less than 2 weeks.
