HOUSING

Green Olive Arts does not provide or book housing, but we are happy to recommend the following housing options for our guest artists. Artists are also welcome to secure housing that is not listed below.

Almost all of these locations are within a short walk of the studios, near the center of Tetouan. We won’t recommend anywhere we wouldn’t put our own family!

All options are subject to availability and seasonal changes. Many of our housing providers extend reduced rates to our artists. You need to contact them directly to book and tell them that you are a Green Olive Arts artist, in order to receive reduced rates.

Private Apartments with AirBnB

There are some great AirBnB options if you do a search for Tetouan (a few recommendations are listed below). You'll want to choose something that is near to the city center and Green Olive Arts, preferably walking distance, and you're welcome to ask our opinion about the location of an option you're considering.

Medina Studio - $70/night - Clean and bright studio apartment in the heart of the medina, a 10 Minute walk from Green Olive Arts.

The View House at Feddan - $50/night - Clean and bright airbnb looking over feddan park and the old medina. 7 minute walk from Green Olive Arts.

Medina Wall Apartment - $65/night - 2 bedroom apartment located at the wall bordering the old medina, just a 5 minute walk from Green Olive Arts.

Home-stay with a Moroccan Family:

Book a room in the home of a Moroccan family - Stay with a family who are long-time hosts and partners with GOA, in a 100+ year old home, just outside the ancient medina, and a 3 minute walk from our studio. 

Each option includes 1 private bedroom, shared bath, and breakfast. For an additional fee you can request to have homemade traditional lunches or dinners included.

Moroccan Riad

A “riad” is a 3-4 star Bed-and-Breakfast accommodation – Blanco Riad & Riad Reducto & Riad Las Mil Y Una Noches

  • Private room and bath, breakfast included, half/full-board available

  • AiR rate – (single occupancy) – Blanco Riad ($340 USD per week*) & Riad Reducto  ($385 USD per week*) & Dar Rehla ($240 USD per week*) for basic room [other upgraded room options available];  nightly rates available.

  • Blanco Riad & Riad Reducto are 3 minutes walk from studio, right in the town center.  Riad Las Mil Y Una Noches is 10 minutes walk from studio, in the ancient medina.

3 Star Hotel - Hotel Al Mandari
